Pediatric cases

Parents of children under the age of 18 are subject to State and Federal laws regarding healthcare of their children. We are happy to collaborate with the care of children but it is essential that this is done with the knowledge and approval of the attending pediatric oncologist. We have successfully worked with several pediatric oncologists who understand our approach and have seen great benefits in the realm of nutritional support and more. If necessary, we can provide contacts for your pediatric oncologist to consult with the pediatric specialists who know our work. We cannot accept pediatric cases without the approval of the medical team leader/attending, nor can we become involved in parental disputes with their licensed healthcare providers. Serious legal cases have been brought against providers who have ignored the legal  decisions of "in loco parentis" entities in pediatric oncological settings.
